All Questions
I offer a full architectural service, from the first sketch through to handover, with hold points at each milestone. A typical project follows the core phases below in order, each building on the last. Each step on the journey sits within an overall framework of budget, timing, and the procurement strategy that best suits your project.

1. Design
The first step. I take your brief, collate site information, and analyse existing conditions. I then develop a design proposal and associated budget, and coordinate any specialist consultants required for your project. If you’ve already done a feasibility package, then this step will be largely complete already.

2. Documentation
This is where the hard work happens. The project is designed right down to the cutlery drawer—construction methodology, materials, sustainability, heating and cooling, kitchens, bathrooms, storage, landscape, and the selection of fixtures and finishes.

I also prepare planning submissions to local council, refine the budget, develop the procurement strategy, coordinate specialist consultants, and produce the documentation for code compliance and building permits.

3. Construction.
The best bit! I oversee the construction on site and administer the building contract between you and the builder. Ensuring the project runs smoothly, is built according to the documentation, meets regulatory compliance, and remains on time and on budget.
